No one was born knowing anything about 1911s. All of us are continually learning from other shooters, gunsmiths, publications, manufacturers, enthusiasts, and internet forums. We also are continuing to learn from our own shop and range experiences. This learning never stops either. The 1911 community freely exchanges information on the operation of this pistol design.
